I had such a wonderful experience with Erica at Carmel Groom! I had a long-scheduled grooming appointment that day, and when my original groomer was no longer available, Erica truly stepped in and saved the day. Rather than having me cancel and reschedule, she worked with me to coordinate a time that same day to take care of Gideon. From the moment we walked in, Erica was incredibly patient, kind, and gentle with him. She took her time, paid attention to his individual needs, and made sure he was comfortable throughout the entire process. Her calm and caring demeanor immediately put me at ease. And the finished result was amazing — honestly, one of the best haircuts Gideon has ever had! Erica did a fantastic job, and it was very clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She was professional, accommodating, and wonderful from start to finish. I’m so appreciative that she stepped in for us, and I would absolutely recommend Erica to anyone looking for a groomer who is talented, patient, and truly cares about your dog. 🐶❤️

Becca is the best! So sweet & gentle. Nigel is always so excited to see her. He looks so beautiful when he leaves the salon. Can’t give her enough gold stars ✨!!!

We’ve been taking our very large Newfoundland to Carmel Groom & DIY for at least a year. They’ve done a great job at handling him & helping us keep him clean/brushed. We recently switched to Erica who did our dog for the first time last week & did amazing!! I had originally asked the owner about availability to groom our new foster dog we have had for less than a week. They’re super booked out at Carmel groom (because they’re wonderful) but Erica went above & beyond to come in on her day off, a Friday, to do our foster dog. Our foster is a 180 lb overweight Newfoundland so it was not an easy task & took many hours but she did it! I am so thankful (and the rescue too) that he was groomed & im not sure if I could’ve found somewhere else that would be able to do it (he can’t get up onto tables / high surface because he’s overweight but Carmel groom is perfectly equipped). This says a lot about Carmel Groom & Erica that they made time to do this for us!!

We finally found a groomer that they adore and adores them back!! Thank you Hayley at Carmel Groom & DIY Wash!! As soon as my girls walked in they went right up to Hayley and kissed her and loved on her. And she loved on them back. Dogs are so perceptive. Now they are laying in the patio room sound asleep!! ❤️❤️❤️ #carmelgroomanddiyforthewin

This business is very well designed. From The parking where you pull up right in front of your groomer suite to the entry to the checkout. The whole process is so efficient. Plus Becca our groomer was fantastic. Our puppy loved her, felt very comfortable with her and as a result, we had a beautiful little dog When she was finished. I can’t recommend this outfit enough.
